February High: VDay & Celebrating Heritage

Hello Dolls and Gents! 

We are steadfast into the love month of February. I heart this particular month so much because it is not only the love month but my heritage is celebrated through Black History.
My shoot location was chosen based on art. I like to think as though one expresses themselves through art. I had the opportunity to pay homage to all of the black art and capture the moment.

Krog Street Tunnel is known for it's urban street art. It's not too far from The Martin Luther King's Center. So you know I was in awe and taking it all in. I saw many walks of life there doing exactly what I was doing. I was ecstatic to know that the area is a family oriented environment.  

Take a look at my ensemble. I chose this gorgeous bow accent poplin blouse to bring to life this blush color faux fur jacket. Yes totally blushing in this number because when you think of Valentine's Day you mostly think to wear red. Welp I'm choosing the color blush over red this year.
